Bibhuti Mishra holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Honours) in Economics. With over two decades of experience across India’s leading broadcasting networks, he brings extensive expertise in media distribution, business development, public relations, and corporate communications.
Before joining Odisha Television Network (OTV), he held key positions at ETV Network and India Cast Media Distribution, a Viacom18 and Network18 joint venture. At ETV Network, he conceptualised and implemented a high-yield distribution and subscription framework that generated significant revenue in Odisha and built a network of over 5,000 independent cable operators across the state. At India Cast Media Distribution, he led market entry and turnaround strategies for a multi-genre channel bouquet, expanding its presence from a limited footprint to a pan-Odisha network and strengthening the reach of national and global media brands. He also contributed to Panasonic’s commercial B2B expansion through product rollouts, institutional partnerships, and government tenders.
At OTV, as Head of Distribution, PR & Corporate Communications, he oversees network distribution, public relations, and corporate communications. His leadership focuses on business growth, regional market expansion, brand development, and strengthening OTV’s market presence through a field-first approach.
